The Advanced Manufacturing department is a place for interns to explore new aspects of manufacturing. Interns can take their own designs and ideas and turn them into a tangible item.
After brainstorming and sketching, students use electronic software to bring their ideas to life! Using plastics, wood, acrylics, and other materials.
The Advanced Manufacturing interns provide branding for existing products, or they can develop products after consultation.
The Advanced Manufacturing department has partnered with the Hartford Yard-Goats, Stanley Black & Decker, and youth sports organizations.
Advanced Manufacturing at its core is a learning experience. Interns will learn time management, teamwork, presentation skills and the importance of precision.

Interns will meet new friends and make professional contacts; an important first step in anyone's future career.
